Well-known writer, scholar, researcher and first novelist of Saraiki language Zafar Lashari died here in Ahmedpur East on Monday. Zafar Lashari was born in Mehrabwala, a historical town of Ahmedpur Shariqa, and after having completed his MA, he became associated with teaching and story writing. And from childhood, he was fond of writing a big piece of writing. In 1970, his first Saraiki novel “Nazu” came out and he became the first novelist of Saraiki. The ruggedness of rural life is mentioned in “Pahaj”. Zafar Lashari was fully aware of the Saraiki story and the mantra of the mantra. He was well acquainted with the art of mantragiri. He left his thousands of fans and readers behind forever. At 9 O’clock he was buried in his ancestral cemetery.
